![]() ![]() The only explanation I can think of is that different areas have different weights on page drop rates - I grinded only in Act IV before I decided to switch it up and changed to Act I, and found it in Weeping Hollow.Īnyway, I regret doing this since it turned the fun anniversary event into a nightmarish RNG grind chore with a deadline. I know this sort of thing is usually just "that's RNG for you" but it seems pretty unlikely to get this unlucky. Was I just really unlucky? I must've found at least 30 or 40 pages that aren't. 18 pages later, Cultist finally dropped!Īfter I started counting (not including my first copies of 1-2 and 4-7), I found: And then I just kept going and going and going. In hindsight, this was a terrible waste of time.Īfter not getting for a very long time (and just throwing away all my non-3 pages), I decided to start stashing all the pages to keep a running count. Although the waste in XP versus time spent at a higher difficulty makes this a bad idea.I found cultist pages 1, 2 and 4-7 pretty easily, and since I was just missing 3, I figured I'd grind it out to get the portrait frame. There’s no modifier for difficulty either, so you could run on a very low difficulty if you want. Just keep doing Bounty runs until you get the pages you need. You will only get one drop of a Cultist Page per map, so keep that in mind. The Priests will spawn in all acts, but entirely at random. It won’t just be seven drops you’re after. And you can often get more than one of each page. There’s a big problem, in that you’re not guaranteed to get a certain page from any zone. I got my set over a few hours of casual play while leveling. The most efficient way to farm Cultist Pages is to simply go about completing Bounties in Adventure mode as much as you can. Since Switch players get that mode at the start, you might be able to rush if you have that option. These Cultist mobs only spawn in Adventure Mode, so you can’t find them in any other mode. ![]() There are a few other elements to their drops, this guide will go over that. The Cultist Pages in Diablo 3 only drop from Temporal Priests or Temporal Initiates, the cultist mobs with grey cloaks. You might have also noticed the random items called Cultist Pages in Diablo 3. There’s a special event running during January in Diablo 3 that you may have missed. ![]()
